Worst case, if you find a perfect 2.8, a 4.3 is probably an easy swap.

Damn straight it's a Dodge, but I'm confused as to your "bigger" statement - they're marginally bigger than an S-10, and that's only to accommodate the V8.

If it's like my Ranger, less than $150 for clutch/throwout bearing/slave cylinder/maybe a couple other things.
